Management

Marcin Ryngwelski is a manager with over 20 years of experience gained in the shipbuilding and armaments industry.

He is a graduate of the Naval Academy in Gdynia (Mechanical and Mechanical Engineering) and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Master of Law). He also completed postgraduate studies in management at the Gdańsk School of Banking (Master of Business Administration), the Academy of Military Art in Warsaw (Management of an Enterprise in the Armaments Industry) and the Gdańsk University of Technology (Operational Management).

He started his professional career in 2000 at Gdynia Shipyard. Between 2006 and 2012, he worked at shipyards in the Netherlands and Norway. From 2013 he was associated with the Research and Development Centre of the Marine Technology Centre. From 2015 to 2017, he was the Managing Director of Szkuner Shipyard. From 2017 to 2023, he worked at Remontowa Holding Group, where he served as CEO of Remontowa Shipbuilding from January 2019. In May 2023, he assumed the position of CEO of Thesta, a company providing services to the defence sector (ship navigation and communication systems). In 2023, he was awarded the Cavalier’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding contributions to the development of the shipbuilding and defence industry.

Beata Koniarska has over 20 years of experience in managing teams and projects internationally. She gained this while working in managerial positions in global chemical corporations, Henkel and ICI, and running her own business in the printing and IT sector.

A resident of Gdynia. She graduated in economics from Staffordshire University in the UK, Université de Lille 1 in France and the University of Gdansk. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish, as well as German at an intermediate level.

She has served as Vice President of Employers of Pomerania since 2022. On behalf of the Lewiatan Confederation, since 2023 she has chaired the Team for Economic Affairs of the Provincial Social Dialogue Council in Gdańsk, being actively involved in the economic development of the region. Since 2024, she has been a councillor of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Assembly and Chair of the Interregional and Foreign Cooperation Committee.

Dariusz Denis is a doctor of economics in the field of management sciences combining theoretical knowledge with many years of practical experience in management, finance and public administration.

His educational background includes studies at the University of Gdańsk (master’s degree in economics), the Warsaw School of Economics (postgraduate studies in banking), the Gdynia Maritime School (where he obtained qualifications of a deck officer) and a doctorate at the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk. In addition, he completed postgraduate studies in marketing management and contemporary diplomacy.

After his time at sea, Dariusz Denis’ professional career included positions in the banking, academic and local government sectors. He has worked, among others, as a director of bank branches (BGŻ, PKO BP), lecturer at universities (Gdańsk University of Technology, Gdańsk Higher School of the Humanities), deputy mayor of Malbork for economic and financial affairs, and treasurer of the city of Starogard Gdański. Most recently, he was Director of the Certification Division at the Polish Register of Shipping.

Dariusz Denis is the author of several books and scientific articles, mainly on economics, banking and history. He was also a member of the supervisory boards of municipal companies. His experience also includes participation in projects related to the evaluation of applications under operational programmes and the monitoring of the quality of public services.
