Marcin Ryngwelski is a manager with over 20 years of experience gained in the shipbuilding and armaments industry.
He is a graduate of the Naval Academy in Gdynia (Mechanical and Mechanical Engineering) and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Master of Law). He also completed postgraduate studies in management at the Gdańsk School of Banking (Master of Business Administration), the Academy of Military Art in Warsaw (Management of an Enterprise in the Armaments Industry) and the Gdańsk University of Technology (Operational Management).
He started his professional career in 2000 at Gdynia Shipyard. Between 2006 and 2012, he worked at shipyards in the Netherlands and Norway. From 2013 he was associated with the Research and Development Centre of the Marine Technology Centre. From 2015 to 2017, he was the Managing Director of Szkuner Shipyard. From 2017 to 2023, he worked at Remontowa Holding Group, where he served as CEO of Remontowa Shipbuilding from January 2019. In May 2023, he assumed the position of CEO of Thesta, a company providing services to the defence sector (ship navigation and communication systems). In 2023, he was awarded the Cavalier’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding contributions to the development of the shipbuilding and defence industry.
