On August 7, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting high-ranking representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. at PGZ Stocznia Wojenna.
Among our guests were:
- Mr Paweł Bejda, Deputy Minister of National Defence;
- Adm. Jarosław Ziemiański, Inspector of the Polish Navy;
- Brig. Gen. Artur Kuptel, Head of the Armament Agency;
- Col Krzysztof Komorowski, Director of the Department of Armaments Policy;
- Jan J. Grabowski, Management Board Member of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A.;
as well as representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the Armament Agency and the Polish Navy.
During the visit, President Marcin RYNGWELSKI, MBA, together with Member of the Board Beata Koniarska, briefed the guests on the progress of work at the construction of the first of three frigates of the #Miecznik programme and investments related to this strategic undertaking.
The construction of the Miecznik frigates marks a major qualitative leap for the Polish Navy. It is also an important stage in the development of the domestic shipbuilding industry. We are proud to participate with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. in this historic undertaking.
