The innovative lighting system installed in the hull and production halls of PGZ Stocznia Wojenna has been awarded first prize in the prestigious “Best Lighting Investment 2024” competition in the Indoor Lighting – Industrial and Warehouse Facilities category.
The award-winning project, implemented by ATM Lighting, presented a significant engineering challenge due to the need to provide optimal lighting conditions at three different working height levels (13, 19, and 30 m). Through the application of advanced technological solutions, the system guarantees:
- precise light intensity adapted to each working plane
- reliable emergency lighting
- central battery system ensuring operational continuity
- full integration with video monitoring infrastructure, significantly enhancing facility security
The implementation of the modern lighting system represents another step in the strategy to modernize production facilities. Appropriate lighting conditions not only improve crew comfort but, most importantly, guarantee the highest standards of safety and quality in the implementation of key defense projects – the Miecznik frigates and the Ratownik rescue vessel.
