PGZ Stocznia Wojenna has established cooperation with the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone within the framework of the “Acceleration Zone” project. The aim of this project is to identify and implement solutions to increase the efficiency of production and operational processes. The shipyard plays the role of Technology Recipient in the project.
The shipyard is interested in cooperating with companies that will develop, among other things, solutions related to improving supply security in the shipbuilding industry by implementing a control and supervision system and accelerating warehouse processes. Startups that decide to cooperate with PGZ Stocznia Wojenna can count on support in testing their solutions, access to shipyard infrastructure and the possibility of adapting new technologies to the requirements of the defense industry.
The project has defined three key areas requiring the implementation of modern solutions:
- automatic control of warehouse processes
Implementation of a central warehouse management system will streamline the flow of components and materials and reduce task completion times.
- optimization of energy consumption
Automated supervision of compressed air systems will reduce energy losses and control technical parameters more effectively.
- remote monitoring of water quality
Implementation of automatic control systems will enable faster response to possible environmental irregularities.
The shipyard is looking for technology partners that can offer automation, monitoring and energy optimization solutions. As part of the “Acceleration Zone,” technology companies will be given the opportunity to test their solutions under industrial conditions and access to the shipyard’s infrastructure.
The long-term goal of cooperation with PSSE is to automate processes, optimize costs and improve operational safety. Implementation of the project will contribute to:
– reducing operating costs related to energy distribution;
– streamlining material flow;
– increased precision in monitoring environmental parameters.
