PGZ Stocznia Wojenna and PIT-RADWAR have signed an agreement for the purchase and delivery of OSU-35K Ship Armament Systems. The execution of the contract, worth more than PLN 100 million, envisages the delivery of three OSU-35K sets by 2026 for vessels of the Kormoran II project.

The contracted OSU-35K artillery systems are stabilised, remotely controlled naval weapon systems equipped with an automatic 35mm cannon with an independent target tracking system. They are used to detect and combat aircraft, helicopters, missiles and drones. They can also be used against lightly armoured and unarmoured surface and land targets. The systems consist of an automatic cannon, an observation and tracking warhead, a fire control system block and a back-up fire control station. Some of their components are made using carbon fibre technology.

PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, together with Remontowa Shipbuilding and OBR Centrum Techniki Morskiej, is a partner in the consortium responsible for delivering Kormoran II units to the Polish Navy. PGZ Stocznia Wojenna is supplying internal and external communication systems (including integration with cryptographic equipment), the MHS Hermes tactical message management and distribution system and an integrated navigation system built in cooperation with the renowned Canadian company OSI for these vessels.
