On October 11, 2025, the annual Shipyard Festival was held at the PGZ Naval Shipyard. The event brought together employees, their families, and retirees, creating a unique opportunity to spend time together in their everyday workplace.
This year’s edition of the festival offered a range of attractions for participants of all ages. The most popular were tours of the plant in a double-decker bus, during which employees’ families could see places usually inaccessible to outsiders. This form of sightseeing gave loved ones a unique opportunity to learn about the scale and nature of the work carried out at the shipyard.
For sports enthusiasts, there was a FIFA tournament with the participation of Arka Gdynia players and activity zones run by Arka Kosz and Arka Rugby. The youngest participants could enjoy inflatable attractions and specially prepared games, while fans of classic games could enjoy the retro arcade zone. There was also barbecue food and a stand with shipyard gadgets.
The high turnout was supported by good weather, thanks to which all planned attractions could take place according to schedule. The festival confirmed that PGZ Stocznia Wojenna is not only a production plant, but also a community of people united by a common goal and commitment.
