PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, along with several local companies, took part in a unique charity event organized by Radio Gdansk. The event featured gifts for children staying in hospitals in Wejherowo, Gdynia, Gdansk and Slupsk. On December 6, Radio Gdańsk’s Santa Claus visited pediatric wards in four Pomeranian hospitals, distributing a total of 190 packages to the youngest patients. The sight of the children’s smiling faces proved that, at least for a moment, they forgot about hospital reality.
“As PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, we feel responsible not only for the development of the shipbuilding industry, but also for the local community. Our participation in this event is an expression of our commitment to help the youngest residents of Pomerania at a difficult time for them.” said Beata Koniarska, Member of Board.
The gifts went to patients of the Florian Ceynowy Specialist Hospital in Wejherowo, St. Vincent a Paulo Hospital in Gdynia, the University Clinical Center in Gdansk and the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Slupsk, among others. In addition to PGZ StoczniaWojenna, other significant companies and institutions from the region were involved in this year’s campaign, including: Makurat Group, Developer Am Projekt, SMT Shipping, Jysk, the World War II Museum, Gdynia Maritime University and the Port of Gdansk.
