PGZ Stocznia Wojenna is hosting another edition of the international user group meeting for the ECPINS (Electronic Chart Precise Integrated Navigation System) navigation system. The training is attended by representatives of nine navies, along with the Shipyard’s specialists.

ECPINS is military-grade navigation software produced by the Canadian company OSI Maritime Systems—the only electronic navigation chart system certified in accordance with NATO STANAG 4564 (WECDIS) standards, operating on more than 700 vessels across over 25 navies worldwide. Unlike civilian systems, it offers distinctly military capabilities, including navigation in conditions of interference or GNSS signal loss, advanced mission planning, and integration with combat management systems.

OSI Maritime Systems is a technological partner of PGZ Stocznia Wojenna in the construction of the Miecznik-class frigates and the Ratownik rescue vessel, while its navigation systems are also being installed on Kormoran II-class minehunters. This cooperation is based on a Long-Term Partnership Agreement covering, among other areas, the expansion of the Shipyard’s Navigation Laboratory and specialist training.

“The presence of representatives from eight navies at our Shipyard demonstrates that we are perceived as a reliable technical partner—not only by the Polish Navy, but also by NATO allies,” said Marcin Ryngwelski, President of the Management Board of PGZ Stocznia Wojenna.

Participants in the meeting include representatives of the Royal Danish Navy, Royal Swedish Navy, Royal Navy, Irish Naval Service, Deutsche Marine, Polish Navy, Royal Netherlands Navy, Royal Canadian Navy, and PGZ Stocznia Wojenna.
