In reference to yesterday’s Independence Day celebrations, it is also worth mentioning the award received by Marcin Ryngwelski, President of PGZ Stocznia Wojenna – the Gold Cross of Honor for “spreading the ideas and deeds of the first Marshal of Poland, Józef Piłsudski.”
This award is of particular importance to the Shipyard. On November 28, 1918, just 17 days after regaining independence, Marshal Piłsudski issued an order to establish the Polish Navy. Since 1922, we have been supporting it continuously, building and maintaining its fleet.
Today, we continue this mission by implementing key programs for Poland’s maritime security. Building the future on the foundation of tradition is not just a slogan – it is our daily responsibility to the country.
