Today we post the last of the films regarding the implementation of the largest investment in the history of PGZ Stocznia Wojenna. Currently, inside the highest Hull Hall in Poland, the construction of the Wicher unit is underway – the first of three Miecznik frigates being built in our shipyard.
Let us recall that the investment included the construction of:
Hulk Hall:
– Building area: almost 6,000 m²
– Height: 46 meters (including the ventilation unit)
– Gate parameters: 43 m high, 34 m wide
– The main gate weighs 34 tons
– Cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 100 tons
The hall is one of the highest facilities of this type in Europe (and the highest in Poland), intended for the integration of frigate hulls as part of the Miecznik Program.
Production Hall:
– Area: nearly 5,000 m²
– Houses all equipment departments
– Accompanying 4-storey office building
Additional infrastructure
– Expansion of the quay
– New internal roads
– New parking lots
– Comprehensive modernization of technical infrastructure
The General Contractor of the investment was a consortium consisting of Grupa NDI, NDI SOPOT S.A. and Pekabex Bet S.A.
